Supplementary Angles

Supplementary Angle: If the sum of two angles is a right angle or, 180°, then the angles are called Supplementary angle to each other.

or,

Supplementary Angle: Two angles formed by bisecting a right angle or, 180° angle, are called supplementary angles.

or,

Supplementary angles: Supplementary angles are defined as two angles whose sum is 1800. In other words, two angles that add up to 1800 are known as Supplementary angles.

For example, if an angle is 800 then its supplement angle would be 1000Because 800+100= 1800In this case, 800 and 100are supplements of each other.
i.e.,

  • 800 is the suppliment of 1000
  • 1000 is the suppliment of 80
  • 1200 is the suppliment of 600
  • 600 is the suppliment of 1200

Hence, any two angles can be supplementary angles if their sum is equal to 1800.
